Hey, I've been using the M1's on my XB9s ever since I slid around on some Bridgestone Battlax BT020 tires. The M1's are great in dry and wet. They're also relatively cheap (rear $140) but I'm going through them pretty quick. I get around 3000 miles on them. I've read some articles on Bridgestone's new BT016 triple compound rear and was wondering if anyone has tried them yet. |

It's the middle that always wears out. The sides of the tire are still fine at 3k miles. I guess it's due to the low end torque and also depends on how much you ride in a straight line in warm weather. I had an FZ1 and got some serious mileage out of most tires with the same riding style. I've heard others mention that the Buells eat up the rear quick. |
