I have a 98 M2 Cyclone with a V&H can, does the X1 type Belly Pan fit this bike without too much mods?

The belly pan will fit, just the front mounting tabs didn't seem to want to work right (on a 2000 at least, your's should be ok due to different front exhaust hanger and front shock mount), and the directions suck.
