What is the simplest way to make headlamps/brakelight inoperable for trackdays? The dealer mentioned something about thin, white wires in the bundle under the top fairing that disconnect the headlights. It also seems pretty easy to just remove the tail light bulb. I wasn't sure if there might be a fuse that controlled them all, but worried it might cut power to something important. Also, it appears that the turn signals screw off and unplug rather easily. My question is what can be used to re-attch the fairing to the frame support when the signals have been removed. I would much prefer to have as many things removed as possible, and use one of the Grandstand Design number plates to cover the headlights. I like to tape as little as possible. |

On a lightning, its easy to kill the tail light and brake light by pulling 3 spade connectors off the inside of the lamp housing from under the seat. |

It's an '08 XB12R, and as I said, does the fuse cause anything else to go off that might be important? Or does it control the lights only? Any suggestions for the turn signals? I appreciate the input. |
