Hey everyone, ok well here it is. I have a 95 S2. I had been noticing recently some popping in the exhaust when I down shift and decelerate. The bike is near 30k so I decided it was time to replace the intake and exhaust gaskets. I was hoping this would take care of things. But guess what...It hasnt...So does anyone have any ideas of what this might be? |

heck for header leaks. If none are found, then check/tighten/replace the exhaust port to header-pipe gaskets, again if necessary. |

I would check for cracks in the pipes too. I have a nice size crack that I am getting ready to fix. |

ok you are not going believe this. But I just did a quick carb rebuild with a new accelerator pump etc. as well as new jets 45/190 vs the 48/185 and the popping has disappeared....go figure cause I never thought it would have been caused by the carb. Thanks for the input guys,. |
