Yeah, I was just being a smart ass. I had to laugh at myself.

It happened on my way into work ( actually at work ) so it was pretty convenient. Very little drama. I threw it in the back of a work truck to bring home, etc. If I was doing 75 on the highway, on a trip, wouldn't have been as fun.

I just had my 10k done and they didn't see anything, nor did I in my walk arounds. Upon inspection of the belt after the fact, you could tell that it was very brittle on the inside with cracks in between the teeth.

I slapped a new one on, pretty easy. Everything seems normal. I had about 13k at time of failure.
