Looking for a new helmet. Current is a Z1R "street" helmet which is no longer made. Tried on an HJC, KBC, Shark, Icon, and some other brand like Souja? Well they either fit too loose and could wear my glasses, or nice and snug with no chance of wearing glasses, or fit and able to get glasses on but the pushed them into my temples of pushed on the ear piece lifting them off my nose. My sunglasses were worse. I tried on a Joe Rocket helmet and it actually had indents in the side foam for glasses. Fit is decent, better than my current, and I can wear my sunglasses. If I didnt need glasses I could have gotten a cheaper helmet. Oh well.

Suomy is the other brand that I tried. Nice but no room for glasses.

I wear glasses from time to time when my eyes can't handle the contact lenses.

There's only three helmets that I've tried in the last year that lets me wear glasses comfortably.

First one is my Nolan N102 modular.
It's comfortable but bulky. Very quiet for a modular. Venting works well.
The pinlock fog shield is excellent and covers a very large area of the face shield.
The flip down sun shield works very well too.
Another thing I like is Nolan's ratchet strap system. It's super fast off/on.

Drawbacks are that it's rather bulky and perhaps a little too roomy in the cheek area.

Next helmet is the Shoei RF1000.
It's a nice light streamlined full face helmet with channels inside the lining specifically for accommodating glasses.
I don't know your head shape but this helmet fits me snuggly but not tightly.
I'd say it was damn near perfect fit.

Drawbacks are that the face shield fogs up like a somanabitch when it's cold out.
They have a pinlock shield similar to Nolan's but it is small.

The third helmet is the Shoei Multitech.
Pretty much the same as the RF1000 except it's a flip up like the Nolan. It has different vents than the RF1000 but uses the same shields.

Drawbacks: besides the faceshield fogging up, I don't know. I havn't ridden with one. I've only walked around the store with it on for about 15 minutes.

If shoei ever comes out with a fog free shield like Scorpion has I will be a very happy camper because the Shoei helmets fit me best so far.

I didnt see the Nolan there, and the Shoeis were outta my price range. I ended up getting the Joe Rocket Good & Evil helmet in black. According the sales person, the Villain and the G&E have the same shell just different graphics. It does appear that way. Another thing, one brand I couldnt even fit into a med, the large was way too big. The next the med fit, and I swimming in the large.

Shoei TZ1 and Fulmer Apache are the only 2 helmets I've ever had that accommodated my eyeglasses and fit my head properly as well. Looks like more manufacturers would take this into account!!!
