I thought I saw somewhere that somebody made a heat shield for under the seat of a Lightning. I have a Long and heat comes out under the seat and makes the underside of my thigh very uncomfortable. Anybody know of a fix? |

Hi Frankfast, You did see something on it! Odie from Special Ops makes them. They're approx. $25.00 +/- and you can contact him through our website. Just look for the "Special Ops" banner under business advertisers. He's a great guy to talk to........ Stay safe, Tracy |

I recently bought my XB12s (06 model) and went on a 200 mile run last Sunday in 87degF heat. Yes the seat got really hot but my concern is for the electrics tucked under there. Has this caused any problems with the battery etc.? Oh! Being in Australia. Is it possible to get the heat shield shipped to Oz? |

I've had mine for around a thousand miles. No issues. I've never heard of any on this board. Talk to Odie at spec-ops about shipping. I think he would ship any where and just charge for the extra shipping. Good luck. I Bet cruising Aussie land is awesome! |
