Just curious as to others success/failure stories of aftermarket kits for an XB12R. so it can help me decide which company's products i should head toward or stay away from. And also quality or service and follow up service/support. Peoples personal experience/stories would be great.
I'm thinking a 1250 and some headwork stock cams and no idea about the tuning as yet, is there a product i can do myself by adding air/fuel ratio sensors or maybe ecm spy...... My bike is more of a daily rider with some nice weekend rides so after good usuable power accross the rev range not just peaky power. OPINIONS?

and one more thing. being in Oz have good selection of octane fuels. 95 95 98 which i usually use and 101 also but OMG is it expensive. also available is 95 and 98 with 10% ethanol...I use 98+ethanol in my WRX with good results. figure the different fuels available are more suited to higher compressions.... OPINIONS?

just to chime in on the fuel subject, 98 isn't really necessary even in your WRX (unless your running some pretty aggressive boost and tune profiles) I have a Talon TSi and im running 20 PSI and its tuned to about 11.8-12.3 A/F Ratio and I run 93 octane (and have for about a year and a half without issue) this is also the only gas I run in my 12R

Another thing, I am EXTREMELY anti-ethanol, run a tank of ethanol gas through your car and take the fuel mileage, then run a tank of the good shit (non ethanol) and check your gas mileage, I GUARANTEE you get about 2-5 MPG's better than you do with the Ethanol BS
