Does anyone know if Buell ever sold a back rest for the S3T? I have seen the Corbin version but wondered if Buell ever offered a back rest specific to the S3. I thought I saw one on a thread here at one point. |

I think any of the Corbin backrest fit if they are not model specific in the description. I've been spying on ebay for a used backrest for my S3T and they all seem to be about the same. I suggest a trip to your local "Bike Night" and see if somebody will let you test theirs before buying. Also, do you need a special insert or bracket/brace mounted under the seat? |

Joe, I actually ended up buying a used Corbin seat & backrest from a fellow Badwebber. The corbin backrest will only fit into a Corbin seat with the backrest bracket, it won't fit a stock seat. There is a guy on the site (Gowindward) who makes a bracket that can be used with a stock seat, but I'm not sure if he is making anymore. Thanks for the feedback. |
