Not impressed with there service. I have heard around town from some other people that the guy that owns the Harley shop in New Bern, NC isn't the greatest, but I went in there just yesterday for myself. All I wanted to know is if they could get me a 2nd key to my Buell bike and you would of thought I was the worst person to walk in that shop. It was empty as it was, and the person that I spoke to was more than rude and pushy, telling me they couldn't do anything with or for Buell bikes. I know my mother-in-law had to take her Buell to a local motorsports shop just to have a tune up and new rear tire put on because our New Bern Harley shop wouldn't do the work on it. I recommend anyone NOT going there. After talking to a few other riders in town, they ride about 35 miles to another city to go to a HD shop, instead of going to ours right here in town. I think I will do the same. |

Kold - check with Lee at Shelton's HD/Buell in Goldsboro. They service most of our local Bueller's. Stop in at Carolina Corner Carvers and introduce yourself. We have another Bueller in New Bern, several of us in the surrounding area. |

Kold, when I was stationed in Atlantic Beach, I had the same issues more than once with New Bern. I ended up finally using the guys in Jacksonville until I transferred. The New Bern dealer told me that I couldn't buy a tail-light lens for my XL, I had to buy the entire rear tail-light assembly for about $100. Then they tried to get me to buy an LED setup for about the same price. |
