Hello! I just recently discovered your site I think it's great ! was looking around and found a post about an x-1 fork rebuild, but it never got to the oil level/quantity part. If anyone could tell me what it is that wood be kool. Have a service manual on order, but don't want to wait ANOTHER week before I get this thing back together ! thanx, scott p.s. you would think i should be able to get parts quick and easy being that i'm right inbetween MILWAUKEE and EAST TROY WI ! Right ?! not so-much i guess ! |

Try looking on this site for online manuals. Also they give approx. fork fluid quant. as more or less affects the fork response. |

if you use 10w oil the fork will become a little more stiff. most times better ( for the heavyer riders ) or put some more oil in ( 90mm or so ) |
