I have a 2005 XB12Scg..I think previous owner may have raised tubes in triple trees... How many "rings" are showing on top of fork tubes when bike leaves factory?? Thanks, Rodger |

What rings are you talking about? You sure you're not talking about the preload adjusters? I've got 2003 XB9 forks, and I'm willing to check for you if you clarify it. My legs have a snap-ring looking thing in a groove near the top, and it is designed to be raised in the upper triple until it contacts a shelf inside there. There is only one ring there. |
