Im looking for proven suggestions on how to remove with out damaging the translucent plastic- thanks   Thumper74 Posted on Saturday, July 19, 2008 - 12:15 pm:        When I stripped my cover for paint, I just used some 3M adhesive remover which is found at most real auto parts stores (NAPA, CarQuest, etc) or at body shop supply places.
