Hi, I have a garmin nuvi 260. I see that ram makes mounts for it but here's my question. how strong is the mount going to be from keeping it fall out? The original mount holds the gps with two small indentations in the bottom and top and I've had times when its popped out of the holder in my car. Any ideas or anyone use one? Here's a link

Also I'm thinking about getting a renthal bar and mounting the gps to the cross bar to keep it nice and low. Thinking about using this but don't know if it would work.

I had a nuvi 350, and now a nuvi 700. I had/have ram mounts for both. They worked exceptionally well on these models. If you look at the picture it looks as if it wraps around the top and bottom pretty good. The only issue I ever had was vibrations. Especially at idle. The longer the mount the worse. I ended up with a 2 inch stem and this works pretty good.
