So my bike wont start, and it seems like no one can tell me whats up. It died while i was riding it as if my red prime button had been shut off. I checked all the fuses they are all good. Replaced the relays and for some reason my key switch relay keeps blowing. I turn the red button on to prime and no light or noise from the fuel pump pressurizing. But the neutral and oil light do work. Please if anyone can help.

All I can think of is a chaffed wire grounding out.

It might be directly under the fuse box.
It might be near the steering neck.
It could be anywhere in the harness.

The first place I'd look would be under the fuse box. The whole fusebox lifts up. Sometimes the wires get bent and nicked by the bottom of the fuse box.

Second place I would look would be behind the flyscreen. Sometimes the wiring from the key switch can rub against the horn bracket. (One of mine rubbed itself bare on a horn bracket nut directly below it)

Third place I would look would be at the steering neck where the wires come into the front.

After that it's search through the entire harness.

If you have the shop manual it might help to look at the schematics to see what colors the keyswitch and battery wires etc are

On Edit: Is it a relay or a fuse that's blowing?
I wouldn't think a relay would blow but I'm not an electrician either.

I had a similar problem with my X1 that turned out to be the fuel pump itself. I would check for voltage at the connector to the pump and then half split for power again.

There is a post in the KV under Fuel Pump/ Fuse.

It shows how the wires inside the fuel tank/frame have been chaffed away causing the same symptoms as yours.

To be safe drain your tank and then do not turn on the ignition as a short may ignite the vapors in the frame.

To be sure you had better disconnect the battery before draining and removing the pump.

Then remove the pump.
