right now i have a k&n filter, open airbox mod. and jardine slip-on(which i absolutely love!!) on my 03 xb9r. my question is i plan on doing cams and head work, along with fuel management system. i am concerned about the stock throttle body not flowing enough. i know the xb12's have a 4mm larger throttle body than the 9's. would they be interchangable or would i have to change ecm's, etc...? any input or thoughts on the subject are welcome |

Hi I also have the same idea. You do not need to replace ECM, just change fuel maps to allow injectors delivering the fuel required. If you go overkill, then you could use 12 injectors but with adequate mapping (less opening time than in a 12, due to smaller displacement). Regards, Marcos |
