Just looking for some names here who has done this mod. So I can pick their heads on it.... final compression ratio they ended up with, timing changes they made, map changes etc etc.. How many miles they got on it since the change over... You get the picture...Thanks |

There is a post in the knowledge vault on this Hogs. type in search the Knowledge vault by keyword and use xb9 pistons xb12 and then click on the first one. There is a table in it that tells it all. |

This is an extremely common mod among the guys racing XBs, one of the best bang for the buck things you can do, but I don't know how many have done it for street use. there should be loads of info on it in the KV. I am currently running 11.43:1 cr on my street bike and have had no issues, but I almost always run 93 octane in it (I have had to run 91 in a pinch) the specs for my motor are in the KV along with dyno charts under the "show your power" thread. If you have any questions beyond what is there I'll do my best to answer them, but PMs are going to get quicker responses than threads here right now. |

I realise you race your bike but I was wondering how it affected the overall rideability of it. Is this something that would not be out of place on a daily rider or would it best be left to race macines? |
