Does anyone have pics of how the lightning tail bag mounts to the seat? In the pic on the buell web site I can see what looks to be some type of strap going under the seat. Is that the only one securing it to the bike?

I don't have a picture at the moment, but it is relatively easy to mount.
There is a loop at the back of the bag made of that webbing material which is secured (underneath the tail end of the seat) over the metal seat latch "loop".
There is also a thin bungee type cord at the front which passes under the seat. You can clip it under the indentations near the seat strap to stop some movement.
This cord has a tightener on it, but as the cord is a bit flimsy, it will only go so tight.
But nevertheless, the seat tailbag stays put!
Hope this helps, I can get a pic if still required?

I do not have any picture, but the straps go under the seat and everything is just snugged up. Be sure to lay out the straps so that they do not interfere with seat installation.

End result is not high tech and at first seems a bit flimsy, but it works and mine have been on for several hundred miles with no problems.

I like the bags.

Hey Eicas, I think Tattoo is asking about the Tailbag; are your instructions for the Saddlebags?

Tattoo, could you please confirm which you are asking about?

I looked at the pic on the Buell web site, and in it, you can only see the front bungee cord near the seat strap.
The rear loop strap is obscured by the bag itself.
Hope that helps.

Thanks guys. It is for the tailbag. I was a little leary about how it attached to the seat. But now that I know, I think I will buying one.
