Ok, I am confused. I have searched and asked about fork oil level for a 05 xb12r. I have found 3 different answers. Maybe some one could shed some light on this for me. Answer no.1 Use 14oz fluid and measure 118mm from the top. Answer no.2 Use 16oz fluid and measure 116mm from the top. Answer no.3 use ?oz fluid and measure 107mm from the top. Any 100% sure answers would be appreciated! Tim |

Answer no.1 would be accurate for an 03 xb. I think 05's have different front forks. The 14oz. is just to get you in the ballpark for the 118mm from the top measurment. This distance is measured without the spring and spacer installed, and tube fork tubes fully compressed. Be sure to bleed the damper assembly by pumping it up and down a few times until resistance is felt. Someone should chime in with the 05 specs. |
