I was thinking of getting Pirelli Diablo Corsa III's. They are fairly expensive and I dont mind spending the money but I was just curious of what the tread life is. I was also looking at the Pilot Power's. Any suggestions and answers about the tread life are welcome. I ride an 04' Buell Firebolt XB12r. Thanks. |

I haven't had the corsa III's, just the corsa's and the rear was shot at 3500 miles. I run my tires till they are pretty much shot and the sides and center was completely gone. I am running a pilot power right now and it looks to me that they are wearing faster than the pirelli's but seem to warm up and stick better. I will be going to a corsa III next. This is on my xb12x and have no problems running to the edges with either tires. I got lucky and have a neighbor who just turned pro and had a stockpile of new street tires to get rid of when he went to slicks. |
