I think it would work but the obvious question is why do you need to. When I adjust mine I do not worry if the right and left adjusters are equal to each other. I adjust them so the belt tracks in the middle of the rear pulley and also in the middle of the front pulley so I know all is right with the rear drive line components. And not get any side belt wear. |

hi james, just wondered if it was possible, thought it might look good/more modern and reduce reciprocating weight/mass from the rear wheel a bit, |

It's definitely overkill as stock. These guys machined a groove around the rim, sort of like the 'blood groove' on a bayonet. Lightens it, but leaves it. This is that outfit in Germany, the shipping would kill ya, not to mention the exchange rate. So I've been looking for a local machinist to do this for me too. I tried BRG Racing in Concord, but they charged me $100 just to think about it, as it turned out (Big Rippoff Guys.) So still looking for a machinist.

You might contact this guy about it. He could tell you if he could do it or not. I know he has access to CNCs; he built the clip ons that are currently on my S2. I don't know if he could do something like this though. I know he's very reasonable with his prices as well. He loves building parts for riders.
