I'm looking at buying a good used Buell. I appreciate any suggestions or help in my choice. I've been looking at the Lightning LongXB12Ss. I've been riding my friends older XB9 and it got me hooked on a Buell. Am I correct in thinking the long would be better for my size. 6'2" - 205lbs? I hope to test drive a Firebolt soon to see how they feel. I haven't been riding for some years but have got the itch back. Most of my riding will be open country with hills and curves, not much city driving. Thanks |

I,m 6'3" and 200lbs. The long is the best for taller rider's. I test drove 6 model's and I will go with the xb12ss or the 1125r. If you go to buell's website you can see if they are having any demo day's in your area, do some test rides and find out the best one for you before you buy. |

The Uly is the tallest Buell. It uses the same frame as the XB12Ss, but a different suspension. At 6'2 it will be the best fit, though they will all fit you well enough that they are viable choices. |
