Pls pardon any errors I make on this, my first posting, and this has probably been brought up before but here goes. On a 99 M2 Cyclone, is there any way to mount a regular Sportster ham can style air filter without major mods. I don't like any of the aftermarket stuff like Forcewinder and don't like the price of Hurricane boxes. I can get an older style Sporty assembly for nothing and can hopefully use some type of adapter to mount it. Any advice or any experiences out there with this will be appreciated. Thanks. |

I don't know what's entailed, but I test road an m2 with that airfilter, and its right where you knee wants to go. Very awkward... |

Try to find an old Buell race filter, I bet that their are still some out there. They are a carbon fiber cover, ham can style with the hardware to fit your Buell. |

They make a modern copy of the race filter, which is offset for knee clearance, and I think angled a little different. I believe American Sport Bike has them. Sportster ham cans will probably be in the way, & you sometimes still see the Race filter setups on Ebay. |
