Has anyone used the Teknic lightning gloves? They seem to be nice for the price. I need a glove that has good feel. I really hate wearing them but I know how important they are. Plus the track requires them. What do you guys think any other suggestions? |

Held gloves are very good. They have a bit of a painful breaking in period, but once broken in they have excellent feel and protection. Spidi also makes a very good glove. Great dexterity, and comfortable right out of the box. They do run a bit small though, so you need to order a size larger than you would normally wear. The downside to both of these gloves is that they are a bit pricey. |

How long do the Held gloves last? I was giving $60 a pop for the Buell puck gloves, which were a little on the light side, but *very* comfortable, and wearing out a set every season (10k miles). If the Helds are good for 4 or 5 seasons, they look a lot less expensive. |

I've got about 10K miles (6 seasons) on a set of Teknic gloves (don't know the model/name), and they're showing signs of wear/fading now. I'd say they were well worth it, though never crash tested. |
