I think I finally found a helmet that I like for my 1125r. Comfortable, affordable, and I think it looks pretty well too... http://www.kneedraggers.com/details/Scorpion_EXO70 0_FiberglassKevlar_Helmet_Rivet_Matte_Blue--608394 .html Anyone here have any experience with Scorpion? |

I have an EXO700 and it is worth $200. It's comfortable and the face shield is truly fog free but it does not seal well against the helmet so in rain and fog it will get condensation built up on the inside of it. Changing shields is a snap. the shade shifter shield (sold separately) is pretty cool how it changes from clear to dark depending on the light. It's lighter than my Nolan but a little heavier than my Shoei. The whole liner comes out and can be tossed in the washing machine then air dried which cool. My only complaint other than condensation is that it is not a quiet helmet. I get more wind noise with the Scorpion than I do my Nolan 102 modular helmet, The sound from my race pipe reflects off the road and roars inside the helmet. It's painful without ear plugs where as I don't usually wear plugs when wearing the Nolan or Shoei (RF1000). Bottom line: It's a $200 dollar helmet that gives you the same protection as a $400+ helmet |

I started out with the matte black Exo-400. Good helmet and nice and comfy. My wife has an Exo-700, the Black Dahlia. She likes it, no complaints. I just bought an Exo-1000. Really nice helmet. I've only gotten to wear it once with all the snow we've had up here. By far the best helmet I've had yet. And you can't beat the price of any of them. The thing I really like about Scorpions are you can't beat the price of it for the features you get. Their customer support is really good too, from what I've heard from my dealer that I buy my gear from. Chad |

I just purchased the zox helmet that is a flip up design and has a tinted inner shield that you control with a slide on the side of the helmet, I got it with shipping 159.00 and love it, but if you go with non flip up scorpian is the one it to has the inner shield that comes down when needed this feature is the best thing I like you can be riding and hit shade and flip it up and then hit sun flip it down it also does not get scratched up like the front shield so in blinding light I raise the front shield up and all those little scratches are goon and can see really good. The Scorpion EXO-1000 just got a rave review from MCN in the April issue. I needed a new helmet to replace my Schubarth after an accident in June and I ended up ordering a Caberg Justissimo GT from an English ebay seller. I love it but you're taking a chance on sizing when you order a mail order helmet, especially from an out-of-country seller. |

I probably see more positive reviews of Scorpions than any other brand. |
