i'm going to finish this never ending project. today i adapted a custom tree to my new clamps ( bottom one i'm waiting the top clamp from the shop to be resized) and i mounted the new forks on the frame. it looks ...beautifull. bye Alessio

forks are 43mm ohlins brakes and rotors are brembo . i got those parts from the official "Benelli team" competing in endurance races( one year or two ago in superbike also), i know a tech of them and i got those parts ( brand new) for a ridiculous price( forks , brakes , rotors , wheel , handle bars , and clamps for 1250.00 euros. the pain was to fit the benelli steering clamps to my buell frame. bye Alessio |

forks are "ohlins" brakes and rotors are "brembo" the new clamps and the wheel are "benelli" like the handle bars. the only important mod i did is a new custom made clamps's tree( axis) to adapt the bigger "benelli triples(clamps)to the buell frame. i know a technician at the "benelli race team" ( endurance and 1 or 2 years ago superbike also) who suggested me those parts and with his help i bought everything ( wheel , brakes , rotors , handle bars and forks ...all brand new) from the factory team for a ridiculous price....1250.00 euros. i think a good deal ....not easy built a racing front end with this budget . also brembo rotors are the race thicker type . now the real difficult part is to start a diet to loose some kilos. bye Alessio |
