What is your opinion of them on the track? I've heard great things about them as a street tire with good mileage. I'm asking a lot here, but I'd like to find a good tire that would also me to do a few track days this year (maybe 2-3) AND allow me to rack up some highway mileage...obviously, the more the better. I've had good luck with Pilot Powers on my last bike, but never ran them long enough to see how long they'd last. Does anyone have a mileage estimate on the Powers? Thanks! |

I had the syncs on my XB9SX at mid Ohio, and they worked fine for me. I was just riding in the fast third of the novice class, which was way slower then most of intermediate, so take that with a grain of salt. CeeJay was running MeZ6's, and lapping faster then I was, also completely drama free. I'll get a good 6k miles out of a rear sync on the street (XB9). |

I have 6500 miles on my Syncs, rear probably has 1000-miles left in it. Actually I reordered a set because I was so happy with these tires on the street. --Sean |

That mileage sounds good. As far as track duty is concerned, I'm still a novice so I'm not too stuck on ultimate performance. I suppose as my skills improve I'll move to a dedicated supersport/track tire on a more purpose prepped bike. How much do you guys pay for a set...and from where? I did a quick search over lunch and found a set for about $223 before shipping...which is about the same price as Pilot Powers. Is that as low as I'll be able to find? |

I ordered from Motorcycle Superstore's website last week. They were $97.99 for the front and 132.99 for the rear. They included free shipping, but after the Haz Mat fee, the total was $240.98 to my door. This was the cheapest I could find from a place I had heard about (I could have saved a couple bucks, but not much more). Tires arrived today FedEx, I am VERY pleased with the transaction. --Sean |

Not a bad price. I'll keep looking since I don't need them right now, but the other place I checked was $248.74 after shipping. |

ordered from Motorcycle Superstore's website last week. That's where I always get mine. I have yet to find a better "good deal/fast service" combination. $10 handling fee ($5 per tire), free shipping and they're only one state above me. It takes about 3-5 days to receive them. The Scorps have become my all time favorite tire. |
