I have a newbie question about changing the plugs on my 2007 9r. Just through preliminary inspection it seems like the plugs are burried. Is there a special tool used to make changing them easier? Or does the engine need to be moved? My plugs only have about 2400 miles on them, but I want to inspect them (since I changed my intake and exhaust) and check their color to see if the bike is running to lean. |

The front plug can be reached with a 5/8" wrench. The rear plug can be removed with a 6" long extension with a swivel on the spark plug socket. The air box base and air intake scoop need to be removed for access. |
