I know several people have mentioned trying to epoxy strong magnets on the underside of the airbox cover so a magnetic tank bag could be used. I also found 1 account of a bag flying off at 80 mph. Has anyone tried this and had it work well? I found a bag that I really like, but it is only offered in a magnetic configuration. |

i've thought of trying this too. epoxying some ferrous metallic buell logos on the outside might look tacky, or not be a clean look. got 9 bucks? http://www.rare-earth-magnets.com/SearchResult-Cat egoryID-28.html i don't think you'd have any problems at 80 mph's with the 8-pack i got one of the 1 inch rods and put it on my kick stand for stoplights where i'm the only one in the left-turn lane. |
