I need to replace my wires to the ones that I can ride in the rain and not have my bike cut out on me. I'm planning a long trip and don't want to get stranded or have to deal with a bike that stalls at every stop. Thanks for the help |

You have stock wires on now, and have these problems? Does it stall at every stop only in the rain? Or all the time? |

I see you have a '03 XB in your profile. If those are the original plug wires, replace them ASAP with the updated stockers. In '04 Buell changed the boots so they fit tight around the spark plugs and the coil terminals for a vastly improved seal against the elements. Get those and smear a dab of dielectric grease available at most auto parts stores around the inside of the rubber boot where it touches the spark plug insulator and your bike's ignition should be virtually waterproofed. |
