I currently have a 2000 Cyclone and the seat and rear fairing is insane to large i feel. Is it possible to swap the rear faring and the seat with either an S1 or x1 rear. Hs anyone done this before or something like this -- any help would be great |

Greg The answer is yes. One of the current projects you can view is by an Aussie named Jodie. Check it out in the old school section. It will link you to others that have done or are doing that mod. Bring your lunch. Joe (Message edited by bad_karma on January 12, 2008) |

If you are looking for some skinnier bodywork, mount an early cyclone tail section and seat in place of your wide one. As for the flyscreen, thats a little trickier. You'll need a dash panel and flyscreen with all the mounting hardware from an X1. Since you have a newer cyclone with the newer gauges, they should fit the X1 dash. I tried this swap with my 97' cyclone's earlier (smaller) gauges and they did not fit. Having said that, I have an X1 dash panel and flyscreen (reactor yellow) that will be available later this week or early next week... |
