I have noticed that my 07 Bolt starts to run real rough just as or just before the low fuel light comes on at low speeds/revs.

I had a thought that it may be something to do with the low volume of fuel being easier to heat up from the rear cylinder.

Any thoughts all?

perhaps just the low fuel level sloshing around in the fuel tank. perhaps causing no fuel to the pump at moments.. you didn't say how hard or fast and hard you ride it ...its designed to not do that with the angle ...however if your really hard on the decell it could happen.

Hey bomb, I noticed in your profile that you modified the exhaust...did this problem just pop up or have you had it all the time...have you read my post about the throttle cables? or are you implying it just might be related to your fuel level? or is it something that just happens closer to idle...and not all speeds?

I modded the exhaust on the BMW to make it louder.

The purists disowned me for that.

well at this point the only thoughts I have about your bike running like this ..I would say try some heet in it ..perhaps you have some moisture in the fuel? I dont think the low fuel and temp is going to make a difference. Also ...did you have your dealer perform the cable adjustment and then the afv reset as well as tps.? have you checked the wiring from the fuel pump? pulled or chafed ?

Jason
Really need to look at the fuel pressure when this happens. Sounds to me like either bad fuel, clogged filter or line or pump failing. Keep us cut in on what you find.
