Just a note. Don't ask a non-buell Dealer for anything!!!! I live a go ways from Buell in Macon and Stonemountain HD. I thought well I'll get my service at HDofCC (same engine right?). the salesman met, not greeted,me at the door. I asked Him about appt. times ect... "We don't work on sport bikes, only HD" It's has the same oil/oil filter as a sportster, I claimed. "It's not HD, We only service HD" Isn't that a BIG DOG over there?!? "well It's a Harley" (Now My idiot meter is getting past yellow)  .Instead of going in to a explaination of Erik versus aftermarket I politely cranked up my 984 V-twin and Left one of the nicest one wheelers I've everdone staight to an independent shop about 10 miles away. oddly enough they welcomed my "sport bike" and had me in and out in about 4 cigarettes and a large cup of(free)coffee. |
