Ok...I'm not getting fuel on my X1. Its also not making that familiar voooot sound when I turn the key...I checked the fuses and they're good. What's my next step? Thanks in advance... Paul. |

I suspect the ignition switch, they fail and can do exactly that symptom. It could be a wire break AFTER the switch or even a fuse or relay in the fuse block. But reach behind the switch and wiggle the wires and see if that has any effect. The wires as they go into the switch often come out. Happened to me a few months ago. Mingo |

Start with checking for 12 volts at the fuel pump/sensor connector. It's should be on the left rear side of the tank. Joe |

I had the same problem on my X1 and it was the pump itself. Not hard to replace either. |
