Before I get a leakdown test I wanted to ask what is normal and excessive puking. After riding I usually have one drip of oil from the airbox. When I take the cover off there is a film of oil on the inside and a little on the frame behind the airbox. I'm thinking maybe this is normal and the compression/leakdown test is not worth the expense(I am lazy). If I just put on XB rocker covers and a catch can I should be ok correct? |

That is not normal. Any oil dripping from the airbox is too much. Wht you describe is problematic. Never happened to me when I was riding a stock Buell Cyclone. Just going to a catch can and seeing what happens might be worthwhile. A compression and leak-down test shouldn't cost much. You might be able to find a fellow BadWeBr in your area who has the tools/gages to do it. Is there any oily film inside the throttle body? If so, that is a definite bad sign. |

Could be just a slight over-fill of the oil? |
