I've run across a set of cams purported to be from an XB12 that are labeled as "D" cams. D grinds are standard for a lot of the Sportsters and are rather mild so this struck me as unlikely. What is the label on XB12 cams? Thanks, Walt |

The correct answer would be "E". Best regards Alex M-TeK Engineering |

Walt, a word to the wise... XB cams do not fit into Sportsters, without some serious modifications. Been there done that, it doesn't work. The Screamin Eagle "E" cams are the same exact cams as in the Buell (.551 lift), except they are designed for the XLs. These Sportster cams are also labeled "E". Just to clarify, I wasn't interested in the cams. I just wanted to enlighten the person selling the cams without sticking my foot in my mouth. Thanks, Walt |
