Hi all. I have a 07 XB12R. 1100 kms. running K&N filter. think I have tracked down a factory race exhaust ( hope ).
thinking I will need a race ECM for a 12.

Will the race ECM enable me to remove the exhaust valve servo without the engine warning light coming on ????????

my plan is to get the pipe, then the ECM, then install both at the same time, and do the airbox delete mod and install seperate external filters for the crankcase breathers that come inside the airbox, and block the holes they came through.

SO.....need to know about the race ECM/engine warning light thing????? also any advice/opinions from those in the know on what I plan would be greatly appreciated.

When you take it in to have the throttle set the mech should take care of it. I have a 07 with factory race pipe, ecm, and filter. No problem. Sath

is there still a servo on top of your air box sath?
I will be doing the mods myself then getting the TP reset.

Adam, The Race ECM will not cause the engine warning light to come on.
