I'd like to replace a scraped up header with a new one. Is there a trick to doing this without dropping the motor? |

No. While you can do it, it's a bit like trying to take your tonsils out through your a$$hole. Pivoting the engine down is not hard. People fear it more than they should. It doesn't take any special tools, and it really doesn't take all that long, especially if it was the exhaust that needed to come off anyway. Al |

Thanks Al, I'm going to add a ceramic coated header and a new D&D pipe. So it looks like I have research to do on rotating the power plant. |

What do OEM headers cost? I have a scrape in mine I'd like to take care of this winter... |

Last I checked, $199 for XB9, $205 for XB12. AL |
