Alessio You are going to love that motor. Just put a 88 in my S3. Just love the power everywhere. Joe |

i'm using , better i'm going to use a "rapid bike" ignition /injection module over the race kit ecm again but i've the "ecmspy" software with the cable to and i'll like to try that but i want to by a co reader before to use this software , and honestly right now i'm not able to connect the ecm to the pc . now i'm low on budget but the next steps : maybe bigger valves with bigger stems if the modified throttle body will need it. a belt primary drive from www.freespirits.it please look at this , is something fantastic but expensive. a stronger clutch assembly ( plates and spring) i hope i'll need it. and except the engine i'm looking for a complete new front end ( triples ,forks ,double disk brakes maybe a " marzocchi rc 50 " forks , i like that or a yamaha r6 front end with the "mupo" or "andreani" kit. i think i start ( considering my budget) a neverending story bye Alessio |

to bad Karma please , i see on your profile that you are using some different sets of cams on your bike. i like to know your opinion ... have you noted a bigger difference in changing cams set ? because i forgot in my precedent post about cams ... i don't know right now which one . thank's Alessio |

Alessio The cams I have are both red shift cams. The 1250 in the S1 has 585s and you can tell an improvement in the mid and upper end. However there is a noticeable loss below 1500. The S3 has the 88" running the 630/585. No noticeable loss of bottom end. Good power in the middle and top end. idle is good and motor is smoother than stock. Starting is easy and I'm getting mid 40s mpg in the mountains and high 40s on the interstate at 75 to 80 mph. I hope that answers your questions. Joe |
