The locknut on my M2 shock is dangling completely off the threads, I don't have a wrench big enough to get it back on tight (will barley go on tightened by hand). Is the bike dangerous to ride in this condition? |

Just pick up a flat jaw angle pipe wrench ar Home Depot for about $20 or so. They work perfect. Having the locknut off and bouncing around will do two things. 1. The threads will be buggered from all the bouncing around, you will then be unable to put it back on when you get he proper wrench. 2. You shock preload will probably change. It will loosen up and get softer. Neither are very good options in my opinion.... Brad |

How about a big channel lock or clone. Maybe someone has one you can borrow? |

I snagged a giant set of pliers off of someone—that did the trick! |
