What is the easiest way to get the clutch cable end out of the primary case? My clutch cable broke at the handle I replaced it but obviously put too much stress on the end because it broke. The crazy thing was it made it 200 miles into a ride then broke and leaked all the oil out. | ||

easiest way is to cut the cable and then use a decent (NOT cheap) easy out in the hole that is left to thread the stub out. DON'T BREAK THE EASY OUT OFF IN THE STUB or you'll be hating life, so don't use a cheap easy out. But cutting means filing generation, and you'd rather not do that. If you have to smear a bunch of grease inside the hole and wipe it out afterwards to catch any filings. Al |
