Does anyone have any idea how to obtain the original key code for the Hepco-Becker hardbags? (I know the code is stamped on the shank of the key- obviously this does no good when ALL his keys are lost.)

If anyone has knowledge or experience with this situation, please email me and post to this site what you have. Thanks in advance-

JBH

Actually . . . in the paperwork, likely now long gone there is a big "write down this number in a safe place" warning.

So you must first join the ranks of the hundreds who've left S-1's running on sidestands while they went inside by chanting "I am a Buelliot".

Next. . . go to your AUTHORIZED BUELL DEALER. Confess your transgressions and have them call BUELL CUSTOMER SERVICE at 414-343-8400.

You are the fifth person to do this and there is a neat, quick and easy solution to get you fixed up.

Hey Court- thanks for the advice. Actually, I sold the guy his bike and bags, writing down his ignition keycode at delivery- I doubt I thought of writing down the code for those bags. I will from now on. (One must never assume that having 4 identical keys would alleviate the worry of losing them ALL along with the code!)

I've managed to figure out with the help of my parts guy that the number could be one of only three different numbers- I'll relay this info to my customer and hope for the best.

Thanks again- have a peaceful evening.
