Its not really a problem but more of a question. Just got my wife the 08 xb12scg and when you turn on the highbeem it turns off the lowbeem and visa versa. My 05 xb12R doesnt do this. I'd like the lowbeem to always stay on even if the highbeem is too. Is there a bypass or something? Do I need to rewire the thing? any help is appriciated. thank you! |

Normal. The firebolt has two separate headlights. The lightning has one headlight housing that looks like two. RUn both on at the same time with high ambient conditions, and there is too much heat in the housing and plastic can melt. You could wire it like the firebolt, or find the jumper wire mod that some have done here. But don't run both during hot daytime temps. Al |

Shaiss, to to archive, June 12--look for Hi with Low beam, last post Alchemy. go to stevenknapp, click on lead, go to his again and click on lead. You get a picture of what you need to change it. Takes changing wires. Works fine, takes time to get it done. sath |
