Considering bar end mirrors for my XB12 lightning, any opinions on brand or use of them? Thanks! |

I've been researching the same for my XB9SL ... seems that a lot of people have a good opinion of the Napoleon bar ends. I think that's what I'm going to end up using. |

That's a great price on those - I haven't seen them anywhere near that cheap on the sites I've been looking at. How well do they handle vibration through the bars? |

I'm impressed with the price as well. If they stand up to vibration that should be a killer deal. Anyone able to tell us if they do or don't handle vibration? |

David Bar end mirrors was the best change I made to my bike. It uncluttered the view forward and just make riding more enjoyable. Joe |

I haven't snapped any pics of it yet with them on. I'll take a look in the picture forum... I think I remember seeing another Lightning with them on. It will be a little while til I can post some of mine since I'm sitting at work til the morning right now. As for holding up against vibrations and such - they are rock solid! They don't vibrate or move at all. It was definitely the best money I have ever spent for mirrors! Chad |

The picture I was thinking of in the picture forum was a little different. When I get home from work tonight, at 8am, I will snap a shot or two and post them up for you guys. Chad |

Those mirrors look nice. I am in the process of putting the same grips, I'd like some Bar-end mirrors and a Throttle Meister or some good cruise device. Any suggestions? Thanks! |

Posted on Monday, February 27, 2012 - 01:29 am: I HIGHLY recommend CRG folding Lane Splitter bar end mirrors. I had a solid stem mounted mirrors that came with my 06 XB12Ss when I bought it. They lasted about a week when the left one snapped off on the west bound 22 fwy transition to the north 405. I replaced them with the folding lane splitters and they have paid for themselves 5 times over. solomotoparts.com sells the mirrors and the CRG bar ends for probably the best price I have found anywhere. And no, I don't work for nor am I affiliated with them. Just passing on my experience. http://www.solomotoparts.com/CRG-Hindsight-3-LS-Ba r-End-Folding-Mirror/ (copy and paste if link doesn't work) As for vibration, they will all vibrate just like the stock mirrors do. I have found though that if i want to restrict vibration to get a better detailed look (for possible CHP approaching) all I have to do is squeeze the grip and it it takes the vibration away. |
