Any experiences with this dealership (on Northern Blvd in LIC)? I live very close but I'm also less than one hour from Liberty Buell in Rahway, NJ which seems to be highly praised on this forum. Looking for any feedback on the buying experience at Buell of NY (price paid, pressure tactics, etc), service and support (knowledgeable?) and overall experience. Or should I head over to Rahway instead? TIA. Tipsy | ||

Liberty HD/Buell in Rahway is a top notch Buell dealer in terms of sales, service, accessories, clothing and support. I was there yesterday and they have TONS of Buell stuff on display including some of the very cool BUELL RACING shirts and a few of the surplus "Music Matters" shirt from last years musical gala featuring The Thunderbolts. If you need a tour, drop me a note and I'll walk ya around the place . . and don't forget to put 9-22-07 on your calender to come out and hear The Thunderbolts and have a dandy ol' time! Quality folks who stand behind their work. | ||

Thanks Court...I stopped by two days ago looking to have a seat on the '08 Uly. Unfortunately, they have none in stock (or '07's for that matter). But Anthony was extremely attentive and we talked about the open house. Unfortunately, I won't know my upcoming schedule until Monday. It's a 50/50 chance I'll be in town. If not, Anthony said he'll contact me for a test ride as soon as one is available and in stock. Tipsy. PS - Anthony said "the man" himself will be at the open house. | ||

Sounds like you and I are both circling the place with the same intent. . . . Ulyssiation! I'm "Jonsing" for a couple Buells and was saved yesterday when neither was in stock. . . they've sold each and every Uly they've had . . . which, unless you are wanting to by one, is a good thing. Anthony and the staff at Liberty are top drawer and you'll have a great buying, and service, experience. | ||

Tipsy: The guys in LIC on Northern BLVD are NOT Buell dealers.They only reason they carry them is because Harley is the parent company. That being said, I wouldn't even buy a Harley from them. I was there yesterday and I knew more about the Buells than any of them there. They have two 08s in stock. A cityx and a 12s. I'll leave it at that. I went to the open house at Rahway and was very impressed with Anthony. The guys running the tent that day didn't really know squat about the bikes, but again, I have been researching like crazy so I was not put off by it. Anthony, however, has been riding/racing Buells for sometime. And he was honest, knowledgeable, very cool. I'm buying from Rahway. +1 for Rahway! |
