I discovered recently my brake light doesn't come on for either the front or the rear brake control. The running light comes on no problem. i pulled off the rear light cover, only to discover both filaments (appearing) still intact. I'm off to get a multimeter to help trouble shoot this and a horn issue i'm having. Any ideas? i can't imagine both brake switches failing at or near the same time. and it doesn't look like this could be fuse issue. thanks Alex |

Does your horn work and blinkers work? You may have blown a fuse. I had my rear brake light pressure switch go bad, just replaced it with a unit from NAPA and bleed the brakes. Brad |

Alex The front brake goes serial through the rear brake. So look from the rear brake back to the tail light. It will either be a bulb or probably the spring loaded contact for the bulb. Of course don't over look the fuse. Joe (Message edited by bad_karma on July 29, 2007) |
