Just wanted to pass it on that in rotating the engine for service I noted a great deal of white powdered corrosion on the front isolator bolt upon removal. The bike had 10400 miles on it and had never been swimming. I cleaned up the bolt itself, the steel tube in the isolator and the threads in the frame. I plan to coat these areas with anti-seize check again in 5000 miles.

I also found that the idle adjustment cable is rubbing hard on the cross bracket that holds the coil. Rust is starting to develop on this cable and will have to be replaced most likely in a couple of years. Just FYI
