Top it off with any name brand oil that meets the APC "C" rating & viscocity specified in the manual.

I recommend Mobil1, 15-50.

It has been common practice not to mix motor oils for years due to different detergents, wax based, grade rating issues and so forth. In an emergency you could mix, if not, stick with same brand.

While it is common practice not to mix different oils, as long as the oils are similar there will be no problems - as in this case, they are all motor oils. Especially when the oil container says that there are no problems with mixing with other motor oils. And they all carry the recommendations required from the manufacturer...

It used to be a bigger deal years ago, but I understand now that because certification has become so much more stringent, there really isn't that big a difference in competing brands of oil.

Go ahead and mix them. If oil mixing was incompatible to a point where it would harm an engine, those quick oil change places would have been sued out of existence years ago.
