I bought a Can from American Sport bike after I had screwed up by spraying de-greaser on my swing arm. I sanded the streaks out with 600 grit wet/dry sandpaper and sprayed. Turned out decent I think and the color matches great. BEFORE PICTURE

Very cool. Nice "make-up". It is great when we can cover our f**k-ups. Did you disassemble or mask the messed-up area? Why are you lifting on the spools on the before image and by the swing-arm after? Not that I'm paying attention or anything... |

Thanks! I ended up just masking everything. The reason that I switched is because I recently switched tires and you can't lift by the spools when removing the wheel. my rear stand can lift by either method by just turning the ends around and I never got around to switching back. |

Thanks for the post. I have a similar problem on my frame spars. . . not sure what it is though. I have one more thing to add to my american sportbike list now. |
