Can anyone educate me on how a 2001 sportster rear pulley can be machined to work on a 2001 X-1? Is the inner diameter of the pulley (near the hub) different or is the thickness of the pulley different? Thanks, Boiler |

Ooh, where's that thread, somebody answered that question for me before. Did you try the google search of this board? I'll try to find it too. As I recall he said the inner diameter had to be machined out by a 1/16" or something like that. |

Jayvee, Thanks for the reply. I did execute a search (using the search function) and I found a link that noted that the Sportster pulley required machining but it didn't provide any details. Please, update if you are able to verify this data. Boiler |
